my heart sings: THANK YOU

-for inspiration, lucky charm and God's greatest gift =)
-
Thank you for teaching me how to love
Showing me what the world means
What I've been dreamin' of
And now I know, there is nothing that I could not do
Thanks to You
-
For teaching me how to feel
Showing me my emotions
Letting me know what's real
From what is not
What I've got is more that I'd ever hoped for
And a lot of what I hope for is
Thanks to you
-
No mountain, no valley
No time, no space
No heartache, no heartbreak
No fall from grace
Can't stop me from believing
That my love will pull me through
Thanks to You

Dear Daddy

My apology for not doing this thing (greeting you on father's day) when you were still alive, I know you understand me.
-
My gratitude for your way of disciplining us, especially during our times with Manulet and Cip, and a little with Angela (she's a big girl now). I am still your Perpie.
-
May gratitude also for saving me from shame when I felt I was about to give up following your footsteps. When Manulet was still with us, you were his pride.. until today you are my PRIDE. Thank you for being the perfect gentleman in your personal life and in your profession...You saved me from shame (when I felt I was alone), even if you're gone physically. I am proud of you. Happy Father's Day Daddy!!! Until then. =)
Love,
perpie

MORNING HAS BROKEN

I can identify with the song after experiencing tough times in my life in the past years. The words are very inspiring, it makes me smile and keeps me going. =) I Thank and Praise God for the experiences (good or bad, happy or sad) for He thought me the meaning of life and for giving me the oppurtunity to correct the wrong I've done, to become a better person and to achieve my dreams and aspirations in life for God, my family and my other loves. Indeed, "there's a rainbow after the rain." =)

Morning has broken, like the first morning

Blackbird has spoken, like the first bird

Praise for the singing, praise for the morning

Praise for the springing fresh from the word

-

Sweet the rain's new fall, sunlit from heaven

Like the first dewfall, on the first grass

Praise for the sweetness of the wet garden

Sprung in completeness where his feet pass

-

Mine is the sunlight, mine is the morning

Born of the one light, Eden saw play

Praise with elation, praise every morning

God's recreation of the new day

DEAR JOHN

"What is meant to truly LOVE ANOTHER?"
Tim said: "that LOVE meant that you care for another persons happiness more than your own, no matter how painful the choices you face might be..."
-
The story is about John Tyree who grew up in North Carolina with his father. He was a rebel kid when he was growing up. He was not in Good terms with his father, until he joined the military. On his first leave from the service he went home to his dad and went surfing. He met Savannah, the girl of his dreams, the girl who made changes in his life especially his relationship with his father. They thought someday they will hold hands forever. Savannah married Tim. Tim was dying of illness. Tim loves Savannah. Savannah loves Tim, but she loves JOHN more. John loves Savannah, the love that grows more and more until the time passes by. Tim talked to John to take care of Savannah and his brother when worst happens. John a man with a good heart, sold the coin collection of his father - most prized and only property he left for his son after he died. John donated anonymously the proceeds of the sale (a very big amount) for Tim's medication - for his love to Savannah.
-
John inside his car, and Savannah in her yard - both staring at the full moon returning to those bittersweet memories and feels like they were together once again.
-
The book is heartbreaking. But it keeps me going.
-
True Love is caring for that someone more than you care yourself.
-
Indeed, LOVE is SACRIFICE. =)
