This is my typhoon "Ondoy" experience. I was in Manila for the Bar Ops but unfortunately we all got stranded. We all have stories to tell and this is my story.
I bathe in the waist level floods of Metro Manila along Taft Avenue and Vito Cruz. My first impression was, "YUCK!" when I saw the muddy waters, the "basuras" floating in the waters, but what can I do, I have to cross the street or I'll be stranded until the following day. Little did I know that I have some friends who are experiencing worst than I do, stranded in Provident, Marikina and was at the rooftop for 15 hours. I guess Mother Nature is asking for a payback. With the things that are happening, let us rebuild our Home, the Mother Earth. Discipline is all we need.
